How I got my dog is a good/shitty story.
So my wife was a vet tech and while at work and old black couple came in. Apparently their kids (40's) bought them a dog without asking, for Christmas. So the couple had him for a few weeks and the dog stops eating. Well eats but throws it right up. So the dog gets seen by the Dr and xrayed. Turns out there is a chicken bone lodged somewhere down in him. Im not sure exactly where. So my wife tells them itll be a few hundred dollars to get it out. The couple say "Nah, just put him down". The dog is like 12-18 months old. Her hospital refused and said they have moeny set aside for hardship cases (which they were 100% not) and would do the surgery for cost, like $150. They old man says "Nah, a bullet only cost $.50". After hearing that, my wife refused to hand the dog back over and told them they either sign the dog over to the hospital or they will call ASPCA. They didnt care about the dog so they signed it over.
SO the surgery gets done. Now my wife would bring home a dog for 1-3 days all the time. Dogsitting, high risk patients, whatever, so I didnt think much of it. We didnt have a dog at the time. So 2 days goes by, a weeks goes by and this dog is still here. So I ask her, whats up, and she goes "oh yeah we have a dog now" Hes cool as shit, smart as shit, and just a good all around take anywhere type dog.

I can see how you you would think that. It was more like a threat to the owners that they would get in legal trouble. They werent getting the dog back either way.“Call ASPCA” -lol,that’s a death sentence in itself.
Thanks, I thought so too.Great story
as far as that couple, they can go FTS
